Very happy, proud and grateful to be part of the spring edition of Under the Gum Tree. No less than twelve pages are dedicated to my photographs. As Janna Marlies Maron wrote in her editorial Why beauty matters: “We need beauty to remind us that war and destruction are not the only things that exist in this world. The humans are capable of so much more.”; I could not agree more.

Four times's a charm. After being three times postponed due to covid restrictions it is finally happening. Over two months Rotterdam Photo Festival will be alive and kicking during Art Rotterdam. For this occasion, I will present my series Hemicrania-Disambiguation, an ode to pain and relief and our ability as human beings to sublime what life makes us endure.
In such a difficult time of pandemic and war, let's gather together in a positive mindset.
