I am delighted to announce that my "Forty Plus" series will be on show from May 3rd to June 26th at Centre Culturel Aveyron Ségala Viaur .
"Forty Plus" is a visual ode to femininity and sensuality above 40 years old. Part of the series has been exhibited at the Galerie Pléiades in New York, the Dallas Center of Photography and during the Rotterdam Photo Festival, but for the first time the series will be shown in its entirety. Many thanks to the Centre Culturel and in particular to Nathalie Bouillard for the invitation and the warm welcome.
The opening takes place on Friday May 3rd at 7pm. Be welcome!
Exhibition "Oh les beaux jours", Galerie Waterbolk, Utrecht, NL
And the day that Oh les beaux jours was completely finished and ready to be seen in The Netherlands has arrived. From March 26th to March 31st, my beloved series will be on display at Galerie Waterbolk, Utrecht. I started this project in summer 2020 when I locked myself up with my camera, in France, in the house of my late grandparents. Then I came back three times, looking for souvenirs and cherished memories. My grand-mother stayed in this house until her last breath in 2009. Since her death nothing has changed, everything is precisely at the same place than fifteen years ago as if touching all these objects and emptying the house meant accepting that we had to continue living without this spine that kept us upright. Last summer, I came back to France and photographed the wild landscape of le Causse, Aveyron. From this journey inside and outside came Oh les beaux jours, an ode to life and beauty that is a poetic souvenir despite death, silence and loneliness.
I will be present at the gallery every day to welcome you. Hope to see you there.

Fotografie voor Goed 2024, Save the Children
Fotografie voor Goed 2024 for Save the Children is open from February 1 to March 31.
I'm very grateful and honored to be part of this year collection with one of the photographs from my series “Hemicrania-Disambiguation”, Silver Medal at Prix de la Photographie de Paris 2020.
All photo prints cost €125 including shipping within the Netherlands; photos can be shipped all over Europe.
By buying a print you support the important humanitarian work of Save the Children, the world's largest independent children's rights organisation. They have one goal: to create irreversible change for and with children.
Many thanks to Caspar Claasen for including me and for the tremendous work he is doing behind the scenes to make this possible.
