"Osez décrocher!", 4e Biennale de la Première Artothèque de l'Aveyron

From June 14 to August 30, the Première Artothèque de l'Aveyron is presenting “Osez Décrocher!”, its 4th Biennale at the Centre Culturel de l'Aveyron. As part of their collection, my photograph "This too shall pass" from the series Forties Plus is on display, alongside works by 55 other artists, including photography, collage, sculpture, and painting.
This is a wonderful opportunity to explore the full richness of the Artothèque’s collection, and to consider a yearly subscription or renting a piece for a special occasion.

Exhibition "little treasures trevisan international art exhibition', Bologna, Italy

I'm very honoured to be, once again, part of the "little treasures trevisan international art exhibition" that will take place at Galleria De Marchi in Bologna, Italy from November 30th to December 11th.

During this exhibition I will present four new works from my ongoing series "Les bouts de vie". "Les bouts de vie" are fragments of life captured with a Polaroid Go, the smallest version of a Polaroid camera. Each visual is an attempt to capture suspended moments where Time is not the time of efficiency and the time of the corporate's world but rather the one that speaks to the heart and to our human senses. When afternoon light becomes a tangible character, a silent dialogue unfolds.

The photographs, primarily taken with a Polaroid Go, were scanned and printed on glossy Epson paper. The choice to work with such a tiny version of Polaroid allowed me to let go of all the technical aspects and tools that a modern camera can offer, focusing instead essentially on the intimate experience of encountering light, first in the act of taking the picture, and then in the image's own process of developing.

Each photograph is sold as a unique print in edition of one, while the original Polaroid remains with me, making each piece a personal memory between the owner and I.

Opening is Friday November 30th, 17.30

Be on time and be welcome!
