Enchanted Fences is a series where I've recreated a natural and enchanting state of fences by adding cut flowers to them but also at some point synthetic materials as they now belong to the urban nature landscape. My aim was to create something artificial that looks natural and familiar to confront and question the viewer with his/her own perception of nature. How did it come to the point that we think we own a piece of Earth that we cut and transform to satisfy our own fantasy but also in order to exclude others?
